2011 Race for the Cure
This year’s Eastern Washington Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure is upon us! Cancer Care Northwest is an avid supporter of this group, their mission, and this race. We are assembling a team for the race and would love to have patients, families, friends, loved ones, staff, and providers walk with our team, Pink Power!
The race is on Sunday, April 17 at 9:00 am in downtown Spokane. You can walk, stroll, run, sleep in, or attend your place of worship and still support the cause.
Join our team, Pink Power:
1. Go to http://komeneasternwashington.org/
2. Login or create an account if you haven’t already.
3. Float your mouse over the third button: Komen Race for the Cure. Select “Register” from the dropdown menu.
4. On the right hand side of the page, click “Join a Team.”
5. Scroll down to the second pink and grey box where it lists “Team Name,” “Team Company,” and “Team Division.” Under the “Team Company” dropdown menu, select Cancer Care Northwest and click the button below it on the left, “Search for a Team.”
6. A third pink and grey box will appear at the bottom of the screen. It will have the team name Cancer Care Northwest “PINK POWER.” Select the “Join” button to the far right of it.
7. Select the participation type.
8. Complete the registration form. You can add family members after you register.

Pink Power team t-shirts are available at a reduced rate of $10 until March 21 at 5:00 p.m. Shirts will be for sale after this date at full price (approximately $15) and shipping charges will be applied in addition to the cost of the shirt. If you are interested in purchasing a team t-shirt even though you may not wish to join our team, you may do so. Anyone is welcome to purchase the shirt!

Shirts ordered before March 21 will be shipped to the CCNW clinic of your choice and arrive approximately one week prior to race date. Upon entering the e-store, your first step will be to select the office that you would like your shirt sent to by clicking on the button to the right of CCNW-Administrative Office. Select from:

On the next screen, click on the t-shirts pictured in the center of the page to order your shirt(s). From there, you can enter your contact info, shirt selection, etc.
Shirts are available in YS, YM, YL, S, M, L, XL, XXL & XXXL sizes.
